The dexterity of AI
Combining robotics and AI technology, GXO Logistic has partnered with Dexterity to launch a pilot programme to improve its operations for a beauty brand. Dexterity is a California-based robotics developer which specialises in AI-powered robots with human-like capabilities to depalletise, label and repalletise goods.
The AI technology means the robots can self-train on the job so that they do not require many instructions prior to implementation. This solution increases efficiency and safety while also freeing up team members to focus on other tasks.
While GXO is piloting the robots for its collaboration with a major beauty brand, Dexterity’s robots can be used for many different industries, thanks to ability to learn and adapt. To see the pilot in action, watch GXO’s video:
