Swissport launches pharmaceuticals label

Swissport has launched its own quality label for warehouses that meet the company’s standards for the storage and handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods.


14 facilities will initially be awarded a 'Swissport Pharma Centre' label. All of them are certified by the Iata Ceiv Pharma or by the UK's MHRA. Further facilities will be validated and may be brought under the label.

Hendrik Leyssens, vice-president for global operations for Swissport’s cargo division, explained that “this label for pharmaceuticals centres will promote Swissport’s quality services and process safety for the handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.” (mw)
