Svitzer Europe welcomes CCO
Global towage provider Svitzer Europe has appointed Sara Gerdner Kalle as its new chief commercial officer. With a background spanning nearly 25 years in the logistics and supply chain industry, she brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to her new role, the company said.
Gerdner Kalle will lead the commercial function for Svitzer Europe, focusing on nurturing long-term stakeholder relationships, spearheading commercial development, and driving growth initiatives.
Prior to joining Svitzer Europe, Gerdner Kalle was head of the e-commerce logistics team at Maersk apac, where she led the development of innovative solutions and navigated complex market landscapes. She has also held leadership roles at Singapore Post, DB Schenker, and H&M. (cj)
