Studying exchange batteries in e-trailers
Trailer Dynamics, DB Schenker and Contemporary Amperex Technology are jointly conducting a feasibility study in preparation for the installation and implementation of battery changing stations. This is intended to create the basis for the development of systems that enable batteries to be exchanged quickly and efficiently, the partners explain.
At the commercial vehicle exhibition IAA-Transportation in Hanover, Germany, (17 to 22 September 2024, Hall 27, Stand C28), the three partners will showcase the prototype of an e-trailer with an exchangeable battery. (ben)
