Strategic partnership for BLG

BLG Logistics and Cosco shipping car carriers have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance automotive logistics between China and Europe, as they have reported.

The BLG AutoTerminal Bremerhaven aims to be Cosco's key entry port for the German market and a hub for Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic states. Cosco shipping car carriers plans to integrate Bremerhaven into a liner service with at least two calls per month. BLG Logistics will provide its land-based network, enabling logistics solutions for importers.

Handling around 1.5 million vehicles annually, the BLG AutoTerminal Bremerhaven is one of the largest such terminals worldwide. Covering 295 ha, it offers storage capacity for up to 70,000 vehicles and provides technical services through three specialised centres. (js)
