Startup to build up a new platform

Karlruhe (Germany)-based Neo Cargo is developing a neutral and digital networking platform for medium-sized forwarders. Freight is to be organised with just a few clicks and forwarders can, for example, process their orders automatically in a network via the Neo Cargo interface.

About 20 forwarders and 12 TMS providers are among the pilot participants. The first basic version is to be launched in June 2022.

Neo Cargo was founded by Felix Brandt and Larissa Eger in December 2021 and is a spin-off of KIT. So far, 30 companies have already invested in the start-up. These include medium-sized companies such as Alfred Schuon, BTK Logistik, Schwarz Logistic Group, L.I.T. and TMS providers such as LIS. (sh)
