Sri Lankan logistics and Singapore technology
The Sri Lankan logistics group John Keells Logistics (JKLL) will leverage Infor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Infor Birst to digitise its logistics value chain.
JKLL is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings, Sri Lanka's largest listed conglomerate group, and a provider of supply chain solutions. The company is engaged, in retail, FMCG, automotive, ports and shipping, amongst others.With the new technology, the company plans to enhance the visibility of its logistics operations, optimising costs and increasing productivity.
Commenting on the collaboration, JKLL's CEO Randula Chandrarathne said: "Infor's solution will help us to synergise 3PL-specific business and automate previously labour-intensive and time-consuming processes."
The John Keells Group is celebrating 150 years of business in 2020, with its 70 companies and 14,000 employees. (sh)
