Siegmann opens office in Paris
Siegmann, a Hamburg (Germany)-based family-owned firm, specialises in transport services to and from France. It has now opened its own office in Paris. In May, the company founded its French subsidiary Siegmann Sarl in order to improve its position in that country’s market.
“The French are individualists. If you want to be successful, you have to respect these special characteristics – individuality and top quality service. The French economy is often characterised by small retailers like bakeries, butchers or chocolate shops rather than chains of stores and large corporations,” says Maxim Victor Siegmann, who will head the office in Paris.
Siegmann will start with a staff of six, two of whom will be French nationals in charge of sales. By the end of 2019, he plans to increase the team in the French capital to nine employees. (mw)
