Setting up shop in Trinidad and Tobago

Software publisher Soget is continuing its international expansion by setting up an office in Trinidad and Tobago. Permanent secretary Ayleen Alleyne-Ovid and Soget’s chairman Hervé Cornède signed the contract for the implementation, maintenance, and operation of the PCS two days ago, under the aegis of the minister of trade and industry, Paula Gopee-Scoon.

Trinidad and Tobago is now the tenth country to be equipped with Soget solutions. “The deployment of S)one in Trinidad and Tobago is part of a development programme that Soget has been operating in the Caribbean since the early 2000s,” Hervé Cornède said.

S)one is a platform that has been developed using the latest Microsoft technologies: its mission is to reduce the time taken to ship goods by simplifying and automating business processes, while at the same time securing information by meeting international standards and moving from “paper” to 100% digital.
