Second "City Dock" close to Berlin
In a business park in the Berlin metropolitan region, a real estate is being developed on the basis of a new concept called “City Dock”.
Since 2019, Panattoni, a project developer for industrial and logistics real estate across Europe, has been working on the construction of a business park with a total rentable area of around 15,000 sqm on a former industrial site in the Berlin-Spandau district.
The real estate in Falkensee is around 25 km from Berlin’s city centre and has a connection to the federal motorway A 10. Work is scheduled to start in July 2021, and completion is planned for the second quarter of 2022.
“City Dock” is an innovative concept for the development of business parks for diverse uses, particularly for start-ups, small and medium enterprises as well as companies from the manufacturing (light industrial), trade and commercial sectors. (sh)
