Schneider Transport expands UK business
Road haulier Schneider Transport is acquiring Global Freight Connections (GFC) in Basildon, UK and thus strengthening its activities on the English market and in the Greater London area.
GFC is a medium-sized freight forwarding company offering a full range of logistics solutions for land-based transports in Europe, sea and air freight, general cargo, FTL and part loads, express shipments, logistics and e-commerce. Customs services for UK (Basildon/Dover) complement the portfolio and are an important factor for the company’s branches in continental Europe.
Even before the takeover, there was active cooperation with various members of the Schneider Group, especially with its French branches and with Glob-Sped in Switzerland. (ben)
