Schmitz Cargobull picks managing director
Schmitz Cargobull Danmark, the Danish subsidiary of the German commercial vehicle manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull, has appointed Flemming Laasholdt as new managing director. He will succeed Tim Warmeling, who has moved to the Schmitz Cargobull production site in Vreden.
“Laasholdt has practical experience in the commercial vehicle sector owing to his sales and management knowledge and his role as works manager for many years,” says Gregor Rein, director of the Northwest Europe region at Schmitz Cargobull.
Indeed, after graduating, Laasholdt held various positions in different companies with a focus on the truck and trailer field.
Schmitz Cargobull is a manufacturer of semi-trailers, trailers, and truck bodies for temperature-controlled freight, general cargo and bulk goods. With around 5,700 employees, its annual production is about 46,100 trailers. (amh)
