Samskip enhances multimodal portfolio
Following its recent expansion in Poland, Samskip is continuing its strategy to promote its ‘multimodal customer care’ model in new markets.
As a next step, the company is now opening a new office in Prague (Czechia), headed by a regional business development manager. The Prague branch will empower Samskip and local shippers to connect and embed multimodal transports into their supply chains, which in many cases rely on the use of trailers.
The team in Gdansk (Poland) will be used as a hub for customer service and operations in Central and Eastern Europe and will also employ Czech and Slovak speakers for this purpose. (ben)
