Saint-Jean Transports goes to BH développement
As part of an ownership succession agreement, the French transport company Saint-Jean Transport will be taken over by BH développement, a lessor of utility vehicles.
Saint-Jean Transport is based in Southwest France, employs a staff of 125 and generates a turnover of EUR 13 million. The sale enables founding director Francis Roque to retire.
For BH développement the acquisition is part of a five year plan that stipulates a doubling of the turnover and an expansion of the service portfolio. Samuel Demathieu, president of Saint-Jean Transports, explains: "Given the challenges on the freight traffic market, we want to rely on the group that guarantees the continuation of our work." (mw)
