Saint-Gobain warehouse changes hands
GLP has acquired a warehouse serving the shipper DSC, a subsidiary of the Saint-Gobain Group, which has been specialising in the wholesale of plumbing and heating supplies for 20 years.
The warehouse, which is operated by ID Logistics, is the only DSC logistics platform in western France and located between Rennes and Nantes. From here, the company organises the logistics for more than 80 shops in the Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire regions.
The site is a 39,700 sqm warehouse built by the Legendre Group, an international construction, real estate and energy group. Completed in 2013 and extended in 2019, this facility is made up of six cells, each measuring approximately 6,000 sqm. (sh)
