Russian FTL-trucking company orders CNG Trucks
Globaltruck has signed a contract for the purchase of 10 Scania compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks. The vehicles are expected to be delivered in December 2019. The FTL-trucking company operated 1,355 trucks during 9M/2019, which represents an increase of 146 or 12.1% compared to the first nine months in 2018.
The total distance covered by trucks increased 17.6% y-o-y and reached 198.6 million km. The average monthly distance per truck grew by 4.5% to 16.3 thousand km, loaded run ratio increased to 92.6%.
The group operates six truck manufacturer-certified service and maintenance centres located in the proximity of its key operational routes in Russian Magnitogorsk, Ekaterinburg, Noginsk, Novosibirsk, Perm and Omsk and serves 1,000 customers. (ben)
