Roll FTE sees the light of day
It is a European-Arabian joint venture. Saudi Arabia-based FTE Heavylift and Netherlands-based Roll Group will cooperate on services for heavy lift transports, installation and marine works for the Saudi Arabian market. To that end, the Roll Group and FTE Heavylift divisions will integrate and operate as one company in Saudi Arabia.
The new company will be called Roll FTE, and its head office will be based in Dammam with operational yards in Jubail, Dammam, Jeddah and Rabigh.
Besides Roll FTE’s large fleet of conventional hydraulic axles, SPMT, mobile cranes and various installation equipment based in Saudi Arabia, the JV also plans on investing in marine assets. (sh)
