Röhlig fortifies Americas leadership


Röhlig Logistics has appointed Hector Midolo as chief commercial officer (CCO) for Latin America and head of global sales for the Americas, with effect from 15 January. Based in Miami, he’ll oversee commercial development in the region and drive global account expansion.

 

Michael Gerding, regional CEO for the Latam region at Röhlig Logistics, stated that “we’re thrilled to welcome Hector. His experience will reinforce our presence in Latin America and strengthen our sales strategy.”

 

Midolo brings over 35 years of industry expertise with him, having held leadership roles at major logistics firms, including as regional CEO for Latin America at Bolloré Logistics. He aims to expand Röhlig’s reach in key sectors such as aerospace, healthcare and high-tech solutions, whilst enhancing connections between North and Latin America.

 

Röhlig Logistics, a family-owned enterprise founded in 1852, operates in over 30 countries, offering sea and airfreight as well as contract logistics solutions. (ah)
