RK Logistics adds in Arizona
In an agreement with Southwest Supply Chain Solutions, RK Logistics Group is expanding to the greater Phoenix area and taking over a regional logistics provider’s facility and assets, gaining 7,400 sqm of logistics space in Tempe, Arizona.
As Arizona becomes home to semiconductor manufacturers, RK will be able to provide freight handling, warehousing and transport solutions based out of the Tempe hub. The site is fully climate-controlled, has twelve dock doors for cross-docking freight and a large truck parking area.
To cater to semiconductor companies, there will be a dedicated service featuring specialised crating, and “hot shot” dedicated trucking of parts and components to support manufacturing lines on a just-in-time basis.
