Rewe Far East digitises with Topo Solutions
Topo Solutions and Rewe Far East (RFE) have joined forces to digitise RFE’s sourcing efforts and enable platform collaboration among buyers, suppliers, and RFE. This will reduce time spent on communications by 50% and on offer consolidations 25%.
Prior to the introduction of Topo, the team had to email individual suppliers to obtain the data they needed using Excel sheets in a time-consuming process.
Among other upgrades, the implementation of the new system two years ago has accelerated the inquiry process and improved visibility, the companies say.
Rewe Group, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, operates in 21 European countries through supermarkets, discount stores, DIY stores and travel agencies. (mk)
