Reshuffle in the Port of Rotterdam's supervisory board

Ingrid Thijssen will step down from the supervisory board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority on 1 May 2020. Her position will be taken over by Ruud Sondag.

Thijssen has served on the port operator's supervisory board since 1 September 2017. Her resignation follows her appointment as chair of the Dutch employers' federation VNO-NCE, which is incompatible with her membership of the board.

Sondag was a member of the port operator's supervisory board from 1 April 2017 to 31 May 2028. He then stepped down after his appointment as CEO of Eneco entrusted with the sale of the company. This transaction has now been completed. Sondag will join the port operator's supervisory board on 1 May 2020 for a mandate of three years. (mw)
