Real-time monitoring of wagon fleet
Eurowagon is investing in its fleet: the Polish freight wagon leasing company is equipping its wagons with sensors from Swiss IoT provider Nexxiot to improve the transparency and safety of its fleet and its cargo.
The gateway devices, the so-called Globehoppers, will be installed in the non-electrified freight wagons and provide data in real time. This will allow the company's staff to accurately monitor daily oerations and thus ensure that rail transports can be carried out safely and efficiently.
Eurowagon was founded in 2018 and now manages the largest independent fleet of freight wagons in Poland. (ben)
