Re-fleeting to boost transport capabilities
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHL Post) has acquired a new transport fleet of 22 trucks to strengthen its logistics services in addition to its mail and parcel deliveries. The new vehicles will be distributed throughout the country.
The eighteen six-wheeler and four ten-wheeler trucks are part of the continuous re-fleeting which is expected to speed up the delivery of mails and packages nationwide. They will also boost PHL Post’s capabilities to attract more institutional mailers to use its transport services for the agricultural sector for example.
PHL Post added that the new equipment will provide more opportunities for it to enter the e-commerce and logistics market by 2025, (ben)
