Ratelinx appoints new CCO
Ratelinx, a logistics solution provider, has appointed Steve Horler as CCO effective immediately. Horler was previously chief procurement officer and VP logistics at GEC Packaging Technologies. Before joining Wisconsin (USA)-based Ratelinx, Horler developed an integrated supply chain function for GEC Packaging Technologies, including a merger of Graham Packaging, Evergreen Packaging, and Closure Systems International.
During his five-year tenure at GEC, Horler achieved USD 250 million savings through streamlining the global supply chain and a USD 100 million reduction in working capital through improved supply chain systems. Horler said: "A big part of my job is to accelerate our growth and depth of reach in our market.” (mw)
