Rail service for 9 sqkm industrial park
The US transport company Omnitrax has begun operations as the new rail partner of the River Ridge Commerce Centre, southern Indiana’s industrial and business development park. Omnitrax will also work with state and local officials to attract new park projects. The expansion of the River Ridge rail system unlocks the potential to develop more than 9.3 skm of industrial space, the company said.
The park is a central hub that provides easy reach to markets in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast of the country. It includes companies in the aerospace, automotive, food and beverage, information technology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals sectors. (ben)
