Rahn Consulting and first mile join forces
Two players in the courier, express and parcel services and logistics sector have formed a strategic partnership. Dirk Rahn (owner of Rahn Consulting) and Wolfgang Beecken (managing partner of first mile) will pool their market presence and sales activities for their companies in future.
“I believe that we must join forces with other companies to combine our expertise, our resources and our success with other companies, beyond egoisms and vanities, if we wish to have a good chance of holding our own in this competitive market,” Rahn said in a first statement.
The companies’ first joint customer is a food producer in Berlin (Germany). Here, they will evaluate the logistics processes and dispatching software deployed for their services and recommend necessary refurbishments for the vehicle fleet. (mw)
