Quite a performance despite challenging conditions
For Freja, 2022/23 was marked by a market dominated by volatile energy prices, rising inflation and interest rates, and difficulties in relation to freight and storage capacity. But despite these challenging market conditions, Freja can look back on a record year.
The company closed 2022 with a revenue of DKK 6.6 billion (EUR 0,885 billion), and ebit of DKK 331 million (EUR 44.39 million). These figures represent an increase of 25% compared to the previous year.
In recent years, SDK Feja has seen a major expansion of its business portfolio. Throughout 2022, the group continued to strengthen the organisation and business platform by investing in IT and digitalisation among other initiatives.
Acquisitions will have a high priority in the future, and Freja will continue to pursue this growth strategy and be on the lookout for new opportunities ahead, the company said. (ben)
