PSC Group expands in Texas
The US logistics service provider has acquired Bayport Rail Terminal (BRT), a 465,000 sqm rail, truck, and container terminal. It provides last mile logistics infrastructure and services to the chemical industry on the Bayport Loop and the Port of Houston, TX, from the US Development Group.
In addition to staging and switching loaded and empty railcars, BRT houses full-service railcar repair and cleaning operations as well as rail-to-container transloading services.
BRT is PSC Group’s sixth acquisition since partnering with Aurora in 2019. PSC has more than 4,500 employees and serves at more than 150 chemical plants, refineries, and terminals in the USA and Canada. (ben)
