Providing Porto Park for Aldi
Panattoni has leased a unit of its Porto hub to Aldi Portugal. On a total area of 76,209 sqm, Panattoni has developed two buildings featuring modules of various sizes. The 16,050 sqm unit now leased to Aldi is located in the almost fully occupied north warehouse, while modules remain available in the second building.
With its location just 25 minutes away from Porto’s city centre, the hub is ideal for last-mile and distribution operations. From the city, there are direct access routes to the local airport and to highways to Lisbon and Spain. Low-consumption LED lighting and EV charging stations have earned the site a Breeam “very good” certificate.
By moving into this unit at northern Portugal’s biggest logistics hub, Aldi aims to expand its distribution capacity and operations and continue its growth in the local market. (mk)
