PKP Cargo to publish its H1/2019 results
PKP Cargo will publish the results of Q1/2019 on 22 August 2019. It remains to be seen whether the Polish group will be able to maintain the record ebitda of PLN 900 million (EUR 210 million) it achieved in 2018. Over the whole year of 2018, PKP Cargo carried 121.9 million t of freight and generated a turnover of more than PLN 5.24 billion (EUR 1.22 billion).
“Good results are due to a consistent implementation of a successful trade policy over the last few years. This success confirms the increased trust in the PKP Cargo group and testifies to the good cooperation with our business partners,” says Grzegorz Fingas, member of the board in charge of trade.
"I would venture to say that last year was the most successful year in PKP Cargo’s history. It also shows that our core business is becoming more efficient, since the growth rate of our turnover was higher than the growth rate of our costs,” Czesław Warsewicz, president PKP Cargo, commented.
