Pharmaceutical logistics specialist adds e-vehicles
Biocair in UK has added 100% electric vans to its fleet as part of its ongoing sustainability strategy. The vehicles will be used to complete deliveries and collections at ambient temperatures.
The purchased Maxus eDeliver 9 will be deployed in the Cambridge area, a life sciences hub and home to many of Biocar’s customers.
The company plans to introduce more electric vehicles in a range of locations globally, while continuing to invest in supporting infrastructure. It aims to become a net-zero business by 2040. The logistics specialist within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences sectors won a silver medal in the Eco Vadis rating in 2022. (ben)
