Patriot Rail augments integrated freight services
The US short line owner has assumed ownership and operations of Hydra Distribution & Rail Services and Hydra Transport.
Hydra is a specialist in warehousing, transloading, distribution and logistics services. The new integrated Patriot Rail Hydra Logistics & Warehousing operation will be a standalone division of Patriot Rail. It will be headquartered out of its Sacramento, California location and led by Hydra executive Dave Chambers.
The partnership of the two companies has now lasted for over a decade. Patriot Rail owns and operates over 30 short line freight railroads in the USA and is the third-largest short line holding company in North America. (ben)
