Partners making CV exhaust systems in India
Eberspaecher Exhaust Technology International and Sharda Motor Industries have signed an agreement for an India-based 50:50 joint venture.
The new JV Eberspaecher Sharda Exhaust Technology will develop, produce and sell exhaust aftertreatment systems for Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers to ensure that their products comply with the new highest emission standard Bharat stage VI which will take force in mid-2020. The systems will be utilised in trucks and buses from 2020 onwards.
The exhaust aftertreatment technology will also comply with Europe’s euro 6 standard. (ben)
