Partnering with Qatar Airways Cargo at Heathrow
As part of a new long-term agreement to provide cargo handling, freighter aircraft handling and cargo transportation to/from aircraft at London Heathrow Airport, Qatar Airways Cargo is moving into the cargo facilities of Menzies Aviation from today, 1st September 2020.
The Scottish company will be enhancing its delivery and collection process for the forwarding and trucking community and invest in special product handling capabilities with a key focus on temperature-controlled commodities.
Qatar Airways will also benefit from a dedicated reception area, an operations office, a bespoke office accommodation and gym for all employees. Warehouse capacity for the handling of belly and maindeck cargo will exceed 7,000 sqm, the largest dedicated warehouse capacity solution ever provided by Menzies at LHR. (ah)
