Panattoni Europe conquers Paris
Real estate developer Panattoni Europe is opening an office in Paris and has appointed Salvi Cals as new managing director for the French market. French national Cals, a Sciences Po Paris graduate and member of the RICS (royal institution of chartered surveyors) since 2008, worked with Panattoni's competitor Prologis for eleven years.
At Prologis, Cals was in charge of investment services before joining the development team whose role it was to identify and buy land to develop new logistics projects. Still in 2020, Cals was promoted to director of investments for France.
Robert Dobrzycki, CEO of Panattoni Europe, embraces the possibilities in the French market: "France is at the crossroads of many European countries in which we are already present or markets in which we wish to establish ourselves. The services offered by its port, airport and road infrastructures are an additional asset." (sh)
