Panasonic's contract in the French market
Following a trial run, Panasonic has now contracted Gefco as its exclusive service provider in France. For the client's consumer goods division, Gefco coordinates, from its storage platform in the greater Paris area, the supply of resellers, specialised stores, large retail chains and e-commerce throughout the region.
Depending on volumes and destinations, transports will be in parcel delivery, in palletised groupage or in partial lot transport (LTL). Full batches (FTL) will be despatched from the Panasonic storage platform in Erfurt in Germany. (sh)
