Overnight parcel delivery from Flintshire
APC’S Delivery Solutions (Delsol) opened a 1,951 sqm hub in Flintshire, UK, last week, bringing its portfolio to four sites in the country. The site’s location in Deeside industrial park gives it access to northwest England and north Wales, where demand for parcel services is growing.
Delsol, which has been operating delivery services for more than two decades, can use this space to offer overnight parcel shipments, specifically for local SMEs. As part of the APC, UK’s largest independent parcel network, the company is now boosting its warehousing capacity to 11,148 sqm. Operations at the Deeside hub will be overseen by Damian Conde, who brings a decade of experience within the logistics sector.
Delsol has equipped the Deeside facility with rooftop solar panels, energy efficient lighting, and four electric forklifts, with plans to add two electric vehicles to its fleet in the coming months. (mk)
