Optimising efficiency in Cuxhaven
Cuxport, a multimodal terminal in northern Germany, has implemented the ‘Navis Mixed Cargo Terminal Operating System’ supplied by Kaleris, in order to optimise its operations and consolidate workflows for various types of cargo, including ro-ro, breakbulk and containers.
The programme from Kaleris, which provides cloud-based supply chain execution and visibility technology solutions, replaces many old systems, enhancing operational efficiency, data exchange and visibility. Its digital capabilities will streamline administrative processes and improve the handling of cargo.
Cuxport’s partnership with Kaleris aligns with its strategy to strengthen connectivity with inland logistics providers and deliver enhanced services, with the upgrade further positioning Cuxport competitively in the global supply chain. (pb)
