Opening up in Mumbai
In India, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions recently launched a multi-user facility in Bhiwandi. The warehouse, which covers approximately 28,000 sqm, focuses on storing chemical and petrochemical products. The building features solar panels and rainwater recycling.
A large part of the space has already been allocated to the shipper Covestro, a major manufacturer of high-tech polymer materials, which is headquartered in Leverkusen (Germany). It develops intermediate products for polyurethane foams, varnishes, adhesives and sealants at 50 production sites around the world.
Rhenus Warehousing Solutions runs 31 sites and total warehouse space of more than 230,000 sqm in India. (sh)
