ONE's med port service
The Japanese carrier Ocean Network Express (ONE) inaugurated its Adriatic Israel Butterfly Loop (AIB) service in late August 2023. This feeder service encompasses ports along both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean coastlines.
The AIB loop operates on a weekly rotation, serving the following ports: Koper, Trieste, Venice, Ancona, Piraeus, Alexandria, Damietta, Haifa, Ashdod, Damietta, and back to Koper. The cargo and container vessel “Mito”, operated by the Japanese shipping company, has recently departed from Damietta.
ONE combines the container services of three major Japanese shipping carriers: Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha ("K" Line), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK). (pb)
