Omnitrax now serves three P&G facilities
The US rail company has been selected as the switching partner for P&G’s laundry care factory in Lima, Ohio (USA). Omnitrax is an affiliate of the Broe Group and operates 28 railroads. The new rail contract took effect on 1 November 2024 and marks the third P&G manufacturing plant served by the Omnitrax network.
Under the agreement, Omnitrax will switch daily inbound cars to the plant for placement and return newly empty cars on P&G's outbound track from the facility's campus. In addition to facility switching, the new rail service partnership includes also rail inspection, rail maintenance and repair. (ben)
