Ole Ingrisch to chair Port-Safety board


Ole Ingrisch is to take on the role of Port-Safety board chairman in February 2019. Ingrisch has more than 30 years’ experience in the maritime and offshore industry.

 

Currently serving as CEO of the port of Esbjerg (Denmark), he previously worked for companies such as Martec, Blue Ocean and Royal Greenland, amongst others. He is also chairman of the board of Danish Ports, a private association for commercial ports in Denmark.

 

Ingrisch divulged: “Safety is a critical issue for ports. By joining the Port-Safety team I see a unique opportunity to contribute to a company making a real and tangible difference. I look forward the journey ahead.”

 

Port-Safety’s current chairman of the board, Søren Niebuhr, added: “The company will thrive with Ingrisch’s advice, and we are confident that he will make important contributions to Port-Safety’s continued growth.” (mw)
