Now it's Bomi Group, a UPS company
As reported by the ITJ Daily on 16 August 2022, UPS has finalised its previously announced acquisition of Bomi Group, a healthcare logistics provider mainly in Europe and Latin America.
Through the acquisition, the company’s healthcare unit, UPS Healthcare, will add temperature-controlled facilities in 14 countries, and 3,000 employees to the UPS team. The company will operate under the new name Bomi Group, a UPS Company.
Bomi Group CEO Marco Ruini will join the UPS Healthcare leadership team. UPS Healthcare president Wes Wheeler: "As we move into our transition plan, we’re ready to put those synchronised services into action.” (sh)
