Noatum Logistics develops new facility
Noatum Logistics has agreed terms on a new 14,000 sqm facility at London Medway (UK), to develop a dedicated retail and e-commerce facility.
The strategically located London Medway facility, which is due for completion at the end of 2020, will incorporate multiple mezzanines to add a further 20,900 sqm of capacity, primarily for automation, e-commerce order picking and fulfilment.
Noatum Logistics believes that demand for integrated supply chain solutions that incorporate e-commerce channels will increase and the company is committed to further investments, as suitable opportunities are identified.
Steve Hicks, contract logistics director North Europe for Noatum Logistics, said: "When fully operational, the new Noatum Logistics facility will be capable of processing 50,000 + pcs a day, equivalent to 3 million + parcels a year." (mw)
