Night Star Express partners Mazda
Mazda Motor Logistics Europe has formed a partnership with the night express services provider Night Star Express Hellmann. As part of this cooperation, Night Star Express Hellmann delivers several hundred consignment per day from Willebroek in Belgium to Mazda retailers throughout Germany.
“We want to offer Mazda Motor Logistics Europe late collection times and shorten the transport routes between Belgium and Germany,” says Night Star managing director Matthias Hohmann.
"Therefore, we have set up a west hub in Düsseldorf (Germany) to sort and distribute the consignments. Every day, from the afternoon to the evening, several trucks, semitrailers and sprinters leave Mazda’s spare parts warehouse in Belgium. After about three hours the vehicles reach the Night Star Express west hub in Düsseldorf. There, the consignments are unloaded and dispatched via our network’s various routes in Germany. For this reason, the company increased the number of employees on-site, so that we can offer the Mazda retail stores delivery times until 8.00 in the morning at the latest. Often our consignments arrive much earlier than that." (mw)
