New vehicle for new division
The Swiss construction company J. Schneider has started to offer tipping services and purchased a new vehicle from Renault to carry out the new tasks.
The unit is a C 460 P8x4 with a 460 hp engine that was designed to haul 32 t, but the vehicle logbook states that the C460 can haul a total weight of 68 t. This ensures that the HGV can also pull heavy trailers, an advantage in the construction industry when it comes to transporting excavators or other equipment, for example.
The four-axle HGV is also equipped with a robust crawler gearbox and a hook loader for operating tipping services. (ben)
