New sites along Winchester & Western Railroad
US railroad Omnitrax is extending its new rail-ready sites programme to the West Virginia branch of the Winchester & Western Railroad (WW). This project connects rail-served sites with customers in need of property to access the benefits of rail.
OmniTRAX officials worked with the Berkeley county development authority in West Virginia to identify developable, rail-ready sites along the railroad.
The six sites identified are ideal locations for rail-served manufacturing, food and beverage processing and distribution facilities, Omnitrax said and quoted: “We are off and running with our rail-ready sites programme and are thrilled to add these locations.” (ben)
