New shareholder at BTK

Bernhard Reichert has handed his shares over to Josef Heiss, who will head BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor, a logistics services provider, in a dual leadership with Franz Weiss in future. The shareholders will each hold 50% of the shares and share the management of the company.

In addition to his existing responsibilities for freight forwarding, sales and IT, Heiss will also oversee contract logistics, vehicle fleet, quality management and insurances. Weiss will continue to head the finances and human resources departments.

In the extended management board, the long-standing authorised representatives Franz Neuner as line manager for transport logistics - and Peter Berger – as line manager for contract logistics - will support the company's operative management.

Reichert stepped down from his position as a shareholder exactly on his 60th birthday. He will remain in the management board until the end of 2020 in order to ensure a smooth transfer of his responsibilities. (mw)
