New service to link Rotterdam and Stuttgart

DP World has enhanced its European Inland Network with the introduction of a new rail service between the Upper Rhine region and the Netherlands. The new train connects the Dutch port of Rotterdam with two roundtrips per week with calls in Germersheim and Stuttgart (both Germany). The train has a capacity of 100 teu.

Germersheim is the largest hub in the DP World network, which currently consists now 12 inland terminals: three in Germany, four in Switzerland, two in Belgium and three in the Alsace region of France, providing trimodal transport – road, rail, and waterway – solutions between European deep-sea ports and it’s inland terminals.
