New Renault to upgrade fleet
A new trailer train for mattresses: Hilding Anders Switzerland in Schänis, St. Gallen, recently began delivering its Bico mattresses nationwide using a new trailer-trailer combination. The Renault Trucks T430 P4x2 with a trailer replaces a twelve-year-old truck.
The 10.8-litre, six-cylinder vehicle has 430 hp and a maximum torque of 2,050 Nm and can complete five trips a day with an annual mileage of around 80,000 km.
The Swiss bedding and mattress company is part of the Swedish Hilding Anders Group and has a fleet of five HGVs and a 7.5 t truck. (ben)
